2023-12-26 - Important Notice: ESVS Runway Conditions

The runway at Siljansnäs Airfield (ESVS) will NOT be regulary cleared of snow this winter. This is due to the fact that the flying club does not have any equipment for plowing the runway. We advise that aircrafts refrain from using the runway until further notice.

2023-10-15 - Gras strip (RWY 14L/32R) closed until further notice!

The gras strip (RWY 14L/32R) is closed until further notice! Wild boars have recently dug up parts of the gras strip, making it unsuitable for take-off and landing!

2023-08-13 - NOTAM - Gras strip closed

New NOTAM for Siljansnäs airfield. Due to recent rain we have decided to temporay close the gras strip (RWY 14L/32R).

2023-07-21 - FUEL (AVGAS)

We are currently running low on AVGAS 91/96UL. We are expecting delivery from Hjelmco during next week. We still have AVGAS 100LL.

We got fuel delivery (both AVGAS 91/96UL and 100LL) from Hjelmco on the 24th july.

Maintenance work of grass strip

NOTAM for Siljansnäs airfield (26/5 - 29/5). We plan to carry out some maintenance work on the grass strip and around the (asphalt) runway.

All pilots: We will try to monitor the radio frequency (123.55) but please keep an extra eye out for people and vehicles on the grass strip and in the vicinity of the asphalt runway.
